Niš Constantine the Great Airport is the second airport by size in Serbia (after Belgrade’s Nikola Tesla airport). It was renovated in 2003. Starting 2010 it offers numerous lines connecting Niš with Europe and the world.

You can land in Niš and take off from Niš via Podgorica by flying with “Montenegro Airlines”. They offer flights to all major European destinations: Frankfurt, Moscow, Düsseldorf, Rome, Vienna, Zurich, London, and Paris

The airport is only 3.5 km away from the central city zone and is located on the northern outskirts of Niš, close to the highway leading to Belgrade. It is reachable by the city bus line no. 34. Likewise, you can get a taxi from the airport to the city core (and the other way round) for a very affordable price by European standards (about 300 dinars or 3 EUR).

Starting from April 26th 2013 new flights will commence on Nis-Trieste route. Flights will be operated twice per week, by italian airline Mistral Air, and ticket sale will be organized trought Italian touroperator Balkan Express balkan.opentursys.com/booking.cfm
